The Institute is owned by the managing director, Mr. Mohamed AlMawed,
who has been concerned with the management of the school since as
early as 1973. He directs a dedicated team of Arab, British and European
teachers, each of whom is fully qualified and experienced in his particular
field of teaching.
The name “Polyglot” (speaking many languages) and the Arabic logo
meaning “Peace through mutual understanding” represent the ideas of
the Polyglot Schools throughout the world. That is, the belief that language
training can help to bridge the gap between people and lead to greater
tolerance and understanding in the world.
Equally important in today’s world of computer technology and internet
communication is the language of computers and the role played by computer
training in that vision of mutual understanding. Hence our commitment to the
quality teaching of languages and secretarial and computer skills.
