The Institute offers four course levels in German language, although the first two levels are the most popular.
Our beginners’ course is designed to make the student “street-smart” and therefore covers topics such as: greeting and
introducing people, talking about hobbies, ordering food and drinks, booking a hotel room, purchasing goods, taking public
transport and etc.
The student also learns how to talk about more personal topics such as family and work. A vocabulary
of about 500 words is built up during the course and grammar is kept fairly simple. Great emphasis is placed
on students communicating with one another from the start.
The Second level is the elementary level. Students with limited knowledge of German language can learn to make him or herself understood in simple, routine situations, as well as dealing with simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and common topics and also to be able to describe his or her background information. In the third level, the students are able to deal with most situations typically encountered when travelling. Students in this level are also capable of reporting on experiences and events, describe dreams, hopes and goals. The student has a fair degree of fluency in the language and it is recommended for students who wish to work in Germany to apply for an internship with a German firm in the United Arab Emirates in order to utilize their knowledge of the German Language
In the fourth level , the students can understand the main contents of complex texts and can communicate spontaneously and fluently with native German speakers.
In addition to these levels, Polyglot also offers General German Courses. which takes on candidates with no prior knowledge in the German language.
